Please ensure the best possible rooting by following our turf laying hints and making sure your planned lawn is prepared to receive the turf prior to delivery. Leaving your turf standing while you prepare the soil will age the turf rolls and slabs, and may delay the rooting process of the turf.
Please note we are only a turf delivery service and any advice given is only from our own experience. Many variables including soil type, water usage, topsoil and fertilisers are for you to decide.
Whatever the shape and size of your lawn, we strongly recommend that you purchase 10% more turf than you need to allow for cutting, shaping and also wastage from harvest cutting at the farm. We will collect it and deliver to your address on an agreed date and timeframe.
We offer kerbside or accessible driveway delivery, our driver will unload by hand directly from the vehicle side to that location for smaller orders.
Use the calculator below to work out how many sqm you will need. Measure the width and the length in meters and simply multiply the two together. This gives you your area in sqm.
Not all lawns are that easy to measure and you may need to break your lawn into sections. Calculate each section the same way, then add all the sections together to give you your required total.
Whatever the shape and size of your lawn, we strongly recommend that you purchase 10% more turf than you need to allow for cutting, shaping and also wastage from harvester cutting at the farm. Whilst we will attempt to deliver the quantity requested, occasionally there may be a roll or two missing on a pallet due to the harvester cutting.
If you are really not sure how to measure the area, then contact us so that we can help.
SIZE AND QUANTITY
If the turf on the day is delivered in slabs, they are approximately 0.7sqm in size. If delivered in rolls then each roll equals approximately 1sqm.
